Arrived well packaged and when expected, comes with default lenovo admin so you login using the password blank then set yourself up as admin then delete, laptop was in good condition but gave a internal battery error and the external battery is clearly at the end of its lifespan as discharges very fast, contacted the seller who arranged a return but I couldn’t be bothered so replaced the batteries myself and it works fine now, dropped 1 star as I’d expect these things to be checked but can’t fault the seller for offering a return so be prepared for tbe price you might need to do a few things but it’s worth it regardless

I wanted a new Laptop as my old Lenovo was falling apart, it still worked but one of the screen hinges forced the keyboard to crack open when the screen was opened. I don’t keep much of value on it so changing to a new one wasn’t going to be a problem. I just didn’t want to spend a fortune.
I had a look on Amazon and came across this cracking little Lenovo, Thinkpad. I really only use my lappy for browsing and Email with a bit of YouTube now and then, so not exactly heavy on use so this spec is probably better than I really need anyway. I have had a ” Like new” item from Amazon before, a Fire hd tablet and that was immaculate, not a mark on it, so I knew this should be just as good. I wasn’t disappointed.
Not a mark, almost as good as new, it came with the battery fully charged, 12 month warranty and the charger.
It was set up in no time, I had a bit of trouble with my email but that was my fault as I had forgotten the flipping password. I tried to use my favorite email client, eM Client but it refused to recognise the email password,so I ended up with Thunderbird. Not the Laptops fault.
I can really recommend the supplier and the Laptop if you are looking for a small business ready Laptop but want to cut the cost. Well worth buying, this Lenovo is one of the few left that you can actually open and upgrade cheaply too. Cracking buy.

The laptop itself is of great quality, felt and looked brand new. It was also shipped with care. The battery did not work with the laptop and was refunded the instant I requested it, so very helpful staff. If the battery was not faulty this would’ve made a great laptop to travel with. However, I needed one fast as I will be traveling very soon so could not get a replacement. There are many great reviews, so it seems I was simply unlucky with the battery issue and would recommend this laptop to others. Great price, great quality, helpful staff.

The laptop arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. Amazon don’t supply manuals or installation guides and as I have been using IOS for the past 20 years I had to do a bit of googling to help with the set up.
The main issue was with the keyboard layout. I assumed it was a UK layout and selected that option in the set up. However this created a conflict when I came to type in my email address and couldn’t find the @ button. With help from Google I discovered my mistake in selecting “UK” instead of “US international” in keyboard layout. You can see the difference in the attached photo’s
I have been able to reset the default layout to US international, so hopefully that’s sorted.
Apart from that I am enjoying using the laptop and consider it well worth the money.

Product arrived promptly, was in great condition both cosmetically and internally. Setup took only a few minutes and I was ready to start using. Compared to the Laptop it replaced it was lightning fast. I’ve had it for over a month now and I have had no issues at all with it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Decent laptop with a good selection of ports – T480 is not the same as a T480s.
The ThinkPad T-series are usually solid workhorse laptops, with decent keyboards, non-reflective matt screens, and an excellent array of ports. However, I received a purported excellent condition T480s which is not the same as a T480. The T480 typically has a faster CPU, more RAM, and both an internal and a user-removable external battery as indicated by the description. The T480s, however, only has an internal battery and often comes with only 8GB of onboard RAM. Either model can come equipped with an NVME or SATA interface for the internal SSD drive so be wary of that too. Check that you receive the correct model and the battery exceeds 80% capacity relative to new (as stated by Amazon for renewed laptops). Unfortunately, the T480s I received was not the T480 I ordered and its battery remained at 0% charge even after 24hrs of charging, so it went back. There are also some known issues with the T-series which can affect charging and the USB-C/Thunderbolt interface. However, there are critical software and firmware updates on Lenovo’s website for these, so it’s worth downloading and installing the Lenovo Vantage app from the Microsoft Store to check for these updates and the latest drivers.

I wanted a day to day laptop for some undemanding tasks involving OpenCPN. This laptop was in pristine condition, loaded with W11 and ran perfectly out of the box. I haven’t yet tried stretch applications on this older Gen 8 processor but since it was replacing a gen 6 machine it seems pretty fast. At a a bit over £200 with 16gB of RAM it is a great, reasonably priced alternative to a new machine, and Lenovos are normally always pretty well put together, I am still using a 12 year old Lenovo elsewhere.

Purchased a couple of weeks ago. Truly great value for money, and touch screen which is an unexpected bonus! Ok, it’s not running the latest processor, but for everyday tasks and light work, it does the job fantastically well.
No marks or scratches, very clean, keyboard and mouse pad have no signs of wear at all (I think they may be new).
Only slight gripe is battery life, but then this is expected. Should be easy enough to fix with a new third party replacement…I may email the seller.
Highly recommend the seller, delivery earlier than expected, and very well packaged.
I’ll never waste money and resources buying a brand new laptop again.
