I loved it while it worked. <100hours
First off, this is a LOVELY Laptop, and you feel badass using
there are just a few design flaws with this laptop, based off the hinge and opening the laptop. whatever connectors are hidden away degrade with opening over time I first lost the camera, then slowly lost more and more of the keyboard down the backspace enter arrowkeys side
GET AN EXTENDED Warranty, or just leave it on a clean desk and don’t use it like A LAPTOP

been using this for almost 2 years now
I love this laptop, and it has been my daily driver for the past 2 years. has great performance but ok battery life; the secondary display doesn’t have great resolution, but it works fine. great speakers. and to this day, I still get amazed when people see this laptop. I guess people still haven’t seen something like this on the market.

Great Computer
This computer is a beast. You will get used to the keyboard that everyone likes to complain about. The second monitor is a dream for work and travel, the specs of this computer are top. It is a battery drainer and somewhat heavy, not for light travel work. Great for working professionals that need the extra power. As a data scientist, this computer you need; doesn’t cost the Lambda up pricing.

Everything went great. Brand new product as it was published. Nothing bad to say

Amazingly Flawed.
This laptop would be the best creative laptop available if not for a major oversight. I can’t stress enough how beautifully the laptop is made and how amazing it is to have the second screen. Everything feels top notch and the laptop performs more than adequately. It does get too hot for any thought of using it on your lap and the battery life is subpar at best. It’s also extremely expensive for what you get under the hood. A comparative DELL Alienware gaming laptop with double the memory, a better CPU and GPU and a 17in 4k screen is cheaper. That’s how great this laptop performs when it comes to productivity, it punches way above its cost/value ratio. I’ve spent nearly a month trying to see if I can just live with the flaw. What flaw you ask?
The main screen is absolutely beautiful in every way save for a fine grainy moiré that covers the entirety of it. What little information I have gleaned from the research I’ve done all points to Samsung’s touch mesh they used on this oled screen. I would trade the touch aspect of the screen if it meant this wasn’t a factor. Though I noticed it instantly upon turning on the computer, it isn’t quite deal breaking because you can learn to see through it for the most part. It bugs the heck out of me every time I notice it though. I really want to love this computer but I just can’t. It negatively affects my design workflow because the mesh interacts how I see colors in my Adobe programs I use and is really noticeable when surfing the web (white backgrounds). It’s not super noticeable on dark backgrounds or when editing photos but it is just always there.
*Update*
After a lot more research I have learned the “dots” I’m seeing across the main screen are in fact the touch mesh technology and is present in every 4k OLED screen Samsung supplies to manufacturers. I’m not sure how this fact did not get mentioned in any of the reviews I read online about this specific laptop. It is a major distraction to me. My eyes fatigue much faster than usual due to them focusing on an off the mesh continuously while designing. I can see how someone who edits video or photos wouldn’t be affected as much because it’s much less noticeable in video and images. For 2D design though it’s a problem. It alters how I see flat colors because the mesh presents as a grey texture. I am really disappointed I have to return this computer. I love every other aspect of it. The form factor is perfect for me. If there was a non-touch version, it would quite literally be the perfect design laptop.

Fantastic laptop. Everything I need. It’s extremely powerful and unfortunately comes with windows 11
This is something I of course couldn’t get rid of which stinks because it loaded right up. Also to the people who say it gets too hot. Well yeah. Of course it does. It’s one if not the 2nd most powerful laptop available. It’s also a gaming laptop with a nvidia 3080 in it paired with an i9 processor. What did you expect? You found a high spec laptop and you expect it to run super cool? Who are you?
Anyway. The battery life is what I expect from any laptop. We have a weak i5 Lenovo laptop at work that lasts just as long if not worse than this does. For this type of laptop it’s really not meant to be a business laptop where you can bring it everywhere do to its size and of course performance(unless you always had a table to put it on)
The heat is just an effect of having a performance laptop. My only regret here is dealing with windows 11. Windows 11 is awful and had to manage and sometimes the 2nd screen can bug out due to windows 11 not having the updates for the 2nd screen. The bug out isn’t bad at all to be honest. It will just snap differently or will make you do a little more work to drag it over. The screen plus icon is the only annoying part that won’t go away. No its not perfect but Overall it’s still a great laptop that I truly enjoy. It sucks that it has soldered ram but I have the 32GB model anyway I believe they did that for space savings and honestly who really upgrades ram in laptops now adays anyway? If you are a handy person it should be no issue to upgrade the ram if there is a 64GB bios update.
My other cons is the lack of USB A. It does have 2 USB C’s which is nice and an HDMI but if you were to use this for film editing or any external things like a DJ controller you will definitely want USB A standard plug for that.
I love the all metal chassis. I’m very careful on how I open it due to the skinny screen. If I had to say one thing is I would have gotten the smaller one if it still had a 4k screen but the smaller one had a crappy 3060 in it and only 16 of ram and 2.8k.
No thanks on that and for not that much less of cost either.
Overall the laptop is a 9 out of 10 for me. Again not perfect but it’s getting there for sure. I wish I could just put windows 10 in it but not entirely sure of windows 10 will have the software built in for screen plus and I’ll have to to track that down and I feel that isn’t worth the time just try to work on windows 11. I really wish I had a choice to put windows 11 on but it legit came with it. You don’t have a choice. Microsoft is hammering hard on making things more miminal and making your tasks more obsolete for some reason
Also for people still experiencing heat issues. Let the laptop breath and get one of those laptop stands with the fan built in that blows towards the bottom as that is where the intake is

Great laptop
Laptop is quite good but it has two major issues. One is battery which drains out in an 1 hr if you are working continuously (always connect the charger) and second is the heating issue.
Graphics are amazing and screen quality is awesome. I am a designer so fast machine is always a requirement and this machine is super fast.

Daily Issues for 2 months
I ordered the configuration with Intel Core i9-12900H, 4k main and 4k 2nd screen, with double touchscreens, with the RTX 3060. Sold and Shipped by Amazon. The 1st one I ordered, was never shipped and Amazon accidentally erased the order. I think this was due to Amazon.com making changes to the different configurations. The 2nd computer I ordered came in a few days.
The computer would lose connection to the external monitor, with the only solution was to reset and sometimes power off and reset the computer. I think this is due to the graphic card.
I received the blue screen of death on maybe a dozen different days. I noticed that as long as I generally left the 2nd screen off, I stopped getting the blue screen.
When the computer would work, the performance was top-notch.
The laptop heats up really quickly, you need a cooling pad with this laptop.
The number pad is not as usable as my ThinkPad number pad. It was very difficult to use the number pad and not look at it at the same time, I kept making a lot of mistakes, maybe 10%. Also, the number pad can only be used for numbers or as a touchpad. You cannot modify the screen on the number pad screen.
The really cool control panel widget on the 2nd screen only works with Adobe.

Gorgeous and capable laptop
I bought this laptop for graphic design work and I’m very impressed. The pen on the touch screen is lacking, as it lags a bit and sometimes confuses your hand and the pen. I wouldn’t recommend it as a replacement for something like a Wacom tablet. However, it’s powerful and has a good amount of storage for apps. I haven’t tried gaming on it yet but I believe these specs are more than adequate to run most games at decent settings.

Great computer, with some minor issues
Pros:
This is a great machine with great hardware inside
The secondary screen is very useful
This computer runs very fast, can handle anything you throw at it
Shipping was fast and it arrived on time
Cons:
Although I purchased a new one, they sent me a refurbished one
No original Asus box or manual or warranty cards were included
Did not come with the free 3 month trial of Adobe as advertised
Had signs of use and wear on the touchpad and screen from previous owner
