Pretty good laptop
Sad to say I returned this laptop. Not because of the performance. It was great, just that it wasn’t for my necessary needs.
Great processor and dedicated video card. Played all the games I threw at it.
It’s that 1) I personally found it too heavy for a lap to be a laptop lol and 2) I wanted to upgrade the ram and storage. I figured if I do that I might as well get a laptop that already has the ram and storage I wanted as well as more updated graphics card

Una laptop increible
Llevo ya usando esta laptop alrededor de 8 meses, me encanto, desde el día que la adquirí eso si le instale un disco nvme de 2tb porque ten por seguro que los 512 de espacio que trae no van a ser suficientes para gaming, además le cambie coloque dos memorias RAM de 16gb (32gb en total) y va rejoya.
Te recomiendo que adquieras la laptop siempre y cuanto este en oferta (por debajo de los 15-14 mil pesos) y busques la forma de añadir mas espacio y mas RAM porque lo que trae por default no será suficiente si quieres darle un uso extremo de gaming o renderizado (tareas de alto rendimiento).
La laptop en si por default es buena, no sufri tirones, el sistema me funciono bien y si lo que planeas es usarla por default te ira bien.

It’s great but…
It’s great for a starting gaming laptop can run mostly all my games i have currently and I also use it for work, there is a slight issue with the screen timing out while it’s plugged in and also running a game, then I would “wake” it up my touching the touch pad then the screen wouldn’t respond sometimes or the mouse wouldn’t track properly until, I Alt+Tab to switch to the home screen real quick. That would usually fix the problem or just restart it

Noisy and hates Linux
It’s a decent laptop, but its Linux compatibility leaves much to be desired. Where do I begin?
1) Webcam. The Webcam doesn’t work out of the box.
2) Combo jack. It is not possible to use a wired headset; the mic is not being detected.
3) Noisy. A simple task using the CPU at 50% will make the fans noisy, regardless of whether the room has AC.
For the 1st and 2nd issues, I tried getting some help in the Acer forum, but it was not helpful.
I guess it is a good Windows laptop, and sadly, it is not my use case. It’s a 6/10 for me.

Great price for what you get……easy to add some upgrades too
This is an amazing laptop for what you pay. The RTX 3050 is pretty dang capable and the 12th gen I5 processor is better than the 11th gen I7. There is a caveat that come with the price. First, it only comes with 1 stick of 8 gig RAM. This is pretty much the bare minimum that you can get away with for windows 11. Windows ran and I could even play a few games, but performance is throttled because the memory will be maxed out. There’s an extra DIMM to add memory. I would recommend that you buy at least one 8 gig stick of Crucial (this brand is approved to work with Acer) memory (DDR4 3200MHz CL22) and add it to the empty DIMM. It should be pretty cheap. I bought 2 sticks of 16 gig (32 total) for $70 and it’s running quick and smooth. Accessing the motherboard to replace the memory was probably one of the easiest laptops I have ever done. I’m also going to replace the M.2 drive with a Crucial T500 1Tb drive. The one it comes with is 500 gigs and the one I’m buying has a faster read/write speed but the drive it comes with is capable. Also, there’s 2 M.2 slots to use.

Excelente Equipo Calidad/Precio
Bueno, esta es mi reseña despues de haber cumplido un año con ella , la verdad es que es muy buen equipo calidad precio, obviamente los primeros meses la bateria duraba bastante e inclusive corria juegos sin dar bajo de fps cuando se requeria demasiado procesamiento. Pero sinceramente corre juegos que yo nunca espere que correria y los correbastante bien, si se calienta un poco pero nada que los ventiladores que tiene no puedan arreglar.
Le hice unas pequeñas modificaciones como cambiarle la RAM y agregar otro disco SSD , la verdad es que en el disco segundario intento tener todos mis juegos y a pesar que algunos requieren casi o si estar en el disco principal, la comunicación de datos mediante el cablo que tiene es bastante buena (obviamente no le pidas demasiado, cumple su función y un poco más).
Actualmente ya la batería me da hora y media de carga, jugando o un poquito menos , trabajando o para entretenimiendo sin hacer uso de la tarjeta de video me dura entre 2 a 2 hrs y media sin problema alguno.
No le he dado mantenimiento y actualmente uno de sus ventiladores y hace un sonido bastante raro, pero considerando que si la he usado con usos forzados y sin mantenimiento considero que es normal, para que siempre esten al pendiente con sus equipos y realicen sus mantenimientos cada 6 meses.
En su momento me consto 16.6K, pero por lo que veo sigue siendo la mejor opción para juegos y productividad.
Considero que lo unico que cambiaria de fabrica seria el disco, por mas almacenamiento, pero de ahi en fuera, en estetica tiene casi de todo, el hecho de que puedas controlar mediante el NitroSenses las revoluciones de los ventiladores es una pasada. Consideren que tiene el teclado EU, osea no tiene ñ, pero con el tiempo te acostumbras, también puedes colocar ambas configuraciones de teclado y sin problema alguno.
