Got this laptop after 2 months of research. It’s really nice, beautiful and solid. Loved it right away. HOWEVER,
I have to return it for these 2 reasons:
1. The speakers make a strange noise when it’s at high volume which really ruins the whole experience. I’m not sure how to describe the noise but maybe I would choose something like the notification sounds in most phones.
2. The jack adaptor doesn’t operate as it should. It takes a bit of time to change from speaker to jack while I’m sitting there waiting for jack to work. Also, while it’s plugged, laptops’ notificatio³ns keep popping up saying that I have unplugged the earphones (which I haven’t).
I think it’s fair to say that I was expecting everything to work perfectly since the laptop is brand new and at this price. Unfortunately it doesn’t.

REVIEW FOR ASUS ZENBOOK 14X 2023 INTEL i9 13th gen. (BEWARE AMAZON LUMP ALL ZENBOOK REVIEWS TOGEATHER) This is probably the best laptop I have ever owned, the Intel i9 is lightning fast & the screen is the height of OLED technology at present. I ordered two of these & both were superb BUT!!! The battery on both was exhausted after 3.5 – 4 hours of general use; worse still the battery life indicator was still showing 40- 50% when each machine expired, just plain unexeptable at this price point!
Bottom line – exceptional laptop if you are never out of reach of a power point.

I’m a huge fan of Asus products and this laptop met my hight expectations and surpass them.
This machine has plenty of capacity and power to run multiple demanding apps at the same time without any lagging.
The OLED screen has to be one of the best in the market. The resolution is 10 out of 10 whether you are running work-related apps, games or watching tv/streaming services on it.
Battery life is great as it easily gives you 10 to 12 hours, although this depends on the tasks run obviously.
The keyboard is very comfortable. The mouse-pad, a weak point on most laptops, is quite decent.
Overall, this laptop provides a top performance machine for years to come.

To sum it up, it’s a great value for money proposition in a package that’s sleek and handsome. It would have been a perfect 5 stars if it wasn’t for the average battery life. Highly recommend.

ASUS are very underrated but this model is excellent showing great performance, a crisp clear screen. The only niggle I do have is the combined touch pad and number pad, easy to switch the number pad function on and this is a pain when entering passwords because easy to add an unwanted number in the password and authentication failing. Not a fan of touchpads anyway much prefer a mouse.

It’s fast, it’s fully featured, and very good, solid build quality. Been using it for 2 Months now, and had no problems. It does not run hot, and is not noisy with the fans. Screen is gorgeous, and feels big for such a small and light laptop. Did I mention that it was fast! So many cores! 1TB SSD means you’re unlikely to run out of space.
Slightly expensive, but I feel it’s worth it. Little touches like the numerical pad that you can switch on/off on the drag pad are awesome.
I was a bit concerned about the power button being on the top right of the keyboard, but I’ve not had any accidental switch off events so far.
