This laptop has the potential to be a very good laptop, both for gaming and graphics.
However, due to the way Dell has implemented the Power settings it cannot reach full power.
Even when choosing Max Performance, The GPU will not usually attain over 30%.
Though sometimes it works just fine.
No, This is not a CPU limited issue.
Sometimes the same project or game can be running with a 80% GPU Utilisation and sometimes it struggles to get at 30%.
Repairing The DELL Power Settings Application using REVO Uninstaller usually fixes the problem.
However, I find myself Re-Installing the MY DELL program every few days.
Its full of bugs and it can’t always tell the laptop to run at full power.
DO NOT BUY THIS if you can’t be bothered gambling: “will the fans run a full speed? Will the GPU Actually work?

Also extra bonus this was on sale but we missed it, luckily there was a resale from someone so got it a little cheaper than sale price & now it’s gone back up to over £800! Lucky buy.

Slower than I anticipated. It makes you want a smoother, more visually pleasing experience almost immediately. A better name for the company, I read somewhere, would be Dull… However, I don’t make many laptops, so I can’t criticise them too vociferously. Standard fair.

This is a superb laptop and a good desktop replacement.
I am able to edit video, photos and perform sound recording all on this machine.
Previously I used my desktop computer which is in the dining room.
It is much more convenient to have this machine – on my lap and I use it all the time.
There are not many external connections available but I purchased a multi input interface from Amazon which gets around the problem.
I was also surprised at the sound, there are 4 speakers and on some music the actual stereo effect is amazing.

Initially seemed OK but then it began to fail. Got instructions on line to do hard reset (sometimes several before success). Basically, I had, by this stage, wiped my old laptop so a complete rebuild would have been difficult. On line web-chat to support was very poor – could wait up to 20 or so minutes for response. This went on for several weeks until I received an email telling me That DSL would pick on laptop and would send message regarding time / date. Not wishing to lose data, I configured up another machine and waited – and waited! After a couple of weeks. I once again did web chat to support at Dell and waitrd 2” mins for response. Was given a service reference and asked if this was my laptop. It was not! Was then expected, by web-chat to go through the whole saga again – no way could I explain, nor did I have the PC bios error log. Gave up and phoned Amazon for Sale of Goods Act return. They were very helpful and offered a refund, in full. All items can have faults. It would appear that Dell are notorious for their poor service/ support. My opinion is that they should be avoided!

The display on this laptop is very good with 100% srgb, 300 nits brightness with a 16 inch 120hz 2560×1600 resolution display.
The performance on this laptop is quite good as well, however the only downside performance wise is that the RTX 4060 is limited to 70 watts. It gets quite loud under intense use.
What I have noticed is that in the product description it says that the GPU has a 60 watts gpu, however in Nvidia Control panel, it says 70 watts.
The battery life on this laptop is quite good as well with roughly 5 to 7 hours during normal use and under 2 hours whilst gaming using the RTX 4060.
Features wise, it has a backlit keyboard which can be adjusted at 2 levels, a fast and responsive fingerprint sensor, a clear webcam and for me personally the best being that it supports charging through USB C as it doesn’t require me to carry a hefty power brick with me.
Another issue I’ve noticed after quite a bit of use is that sometimes, unless i drag click the trackpad, it doesn’t work.
Overall, I would rate this laptop a solid 7.5/10.

Its an amazing, typical Dell quality office laptop, works perfectly, the screen is bright and clear, the keys are soft and sensitive, the battery lasts long and the charging is quick, the only con is the ONE SINGLE USB port? really? We are still not really there to have everything wireless, so this is annoying when we have so many peripherals to computers. If one wants to use it with external keyboard+mouse, either prepare with an usb hub or chose an other laptop.
