I think a brand new product would be better because the refurbished ones rely on the opinion of the refurbisher with regards to their ranking of the quality of the referb. Even if there is a metric to follow its still an opinion. Had the product information said the “battery now only lasts for 2 hours instead of 6” I would not have brought it, but it did not say that whilst classing the refurbished computer as “excellent.” Someone’s opinion that the refurbished computer was “excellent” was a flawed one. More information about the specific product should be shared with the consumer when items are refurbished, having crossed fingers in hope is not good enough.

There is so much to this product. I use it as an itinerant forensic psychologist, so it has to be tough and durable. It also has to be able to hold vast internal software and access multiple cloud databases, all within incredible security as offered by facial and fingerprint recognition facilities. The processor and RAM can meet my needs, with some spare, sufficient to keep all my links and multiple functions running simultaneously. It is worth considering, bridging laboratory, business, and fieldwork together in one device.

Originally, I did order a DELL Latitude 7490 14” FHD Laptot but unfortunatedly there were no more available at the time so I was presented with a Dell 5400 which is a model that is very close to the specifications I wanted, I didn’t want to wait anymore or do more research for another Laptop so I decided to go give it a try.
I received my Laptop the next day, well packaged and it was nearly in brand-new state, lightning fast and running Windows 11, immediately I started running tests and benchmarking on it to be completely sure everything was up to standards.
So after a couple of days of checking the Laptop I concluded that it was indeed a worthy substitute for the previous machine I had ordered and it could perform great for my computer tasks as an IT professional.
So far so good, Im very pleased with my purchase and would also recommend the Dell 5400 as a very nice Laptop, fast and powerful as well.
