It’s a glitchy thing to be fair like most HP laptops are! The internet connection drops and the laptop can’t find it until you reboot the machine which is annoying. This is based on 2 different ISPs using different equipment. Apart from that and the lack of an illuminated keyboard, it’s an excellent piece of kit.

I rushed into nursing this laptop without doing research! It is a hassle to replace it so I am keeping it reluctantly

– [ ] Noisy fan right from the get go
– [ ] Key board seems poor quality, with uneven keys and may easily be broken
– [ ] Power button doesn’t seem good quality and has weird size and Dimensions
– [ ] Power socket is too close to the edge and could easily be broken with slight mishandling
– [ ] Power cable is too big and bulky
– [ ] The battery life doesn’t seem to be what’s advertised
– [ ] The picture quality isn’t great and seems to have poor resolution.
– [ ] Laptop came in s-mode with impossible to reach customer service. Lucky for me I found a YouTube video that helped me changed the settings. HP customer service in the UK is a joke!!!!

A fan of HP laptops (this will be the third I have owned) this seems to do all I need it to and is certainly faster at processing than my 8 year old previous model from the Pavilion range. I tend to use my laptop for work (lesson planning), reading, sending emails, surfing the web, and watching TV programmes and films. This model can certainly cope with all of that. My only disappointment is that the keyboard keys are not back lit which would have been a really useful addition to the model and the reason I give it a four rather than five star review.

Price was good for the features.
So far just using it with Microsoft Office products and browsing the internet.
Haven’t used it yet for any significant concurrent tasks but so far I’m liking my purchase.
Only a minor negative comment is that the keyboard doesn’t feel super robust as the keys feel a little ‘light’
Can’t complain as this laptop, with this spec, was a good price.
Hopeful of many more hours of use.

I bought this laptop on April 28th.
Set it up, and used it twice.
Yesterday, June 22nd, I went to use it and I won’t turn on.
It is fully charged, and the only thing that is happening is the Caps lock is flashing.
Can someone at Amazon contact me so I can get a full refund.
Totally dissatisfied and disappointed.
