I have emailed loop8 back in March after purchasing this laptop, as I kept getting an error message “battery 2 not being detected”. Never heard back from them, still getting the same error message, but laptop was working ok, so didn’t pursue. Now I have a new problem and can’t use the laptop. There is no number to call. I will try the email address again, and will have to contact Amazon as well.

I was very apprehensive about purchasing this refurbished item. I bought it under a recommendation from an expert in electronics. It is light and easy to carry.
It would have been far better if it had a 15.6″ or a 17.3″ monitor. The card slots did not seem to be connected but only fitted with blank plates. This one does not have a DVD drive hence I had to purchase one. No HDMI port but there is a display port. Once again I had to purchase another item, a display port to HDMI converter. It is quite fast with an SSD than with a SATA drive. Has an obscure menu to activate some fucnctions. Overall I am happy with it so far. 5 Stars for the seller for delivering it sooner than expected. Really loved the good airbag packing. this. Wish I could purchase these. Thank you.

Arrived like new with no scratches or marks. No bloatware installed and ready to go. Ran Lenovo hardware diagnostics and all components passed. Had to get windows to update – but that’s expected. Good on line support from Lenovo. Microsoft Office available via 365 subscription. Supports older games and some new ones – the main limitation being the onboard graphics. If i get a few years out of this laptop then i will be happy.

I opted for a lower stadard of “condition” (good not excellent?) mote thsn happy with condition, battery seems to be good. Main sign of wear is a (finger) polish on the trackpad.
I run it in power saving mode (reduced performance) and it’s easily able to run kububtu, which clean installed 1st go, including wifi, Bluetooth etc

I initially was very happy with this product, despite the laptop needing to be plugged in when working for extended periods of time as the battery life was not great. This was not problem for me, as I use this laptop at my desk so it is not moved around. However, after less than 9 months use the screen developed a fault whereby two white lines appeared overnight. I contacted the company as directed by Amazon to report this fault and despite me informing them in several email messages that the laptop has remained at my desk and that I had taken the upmost care when opening and closing the screen, they refuse to accept that this is a product fault. They are not engaging in any form of conversation and are hiding behind the term ‘customer induced damaged’ as a blanket response, despite me stating that I have not mistreated or accidentally damaged the laptop. They refuse to honor the warranty or supply a phone number to discuss this problem. If you do decided to purchase this product, be prepared to have to cover the cost of any issues that may arise or ‘claim on your insurance’ as they keep informing me to do.

I hesitated prior to buying a refurbished laptop as i have had my eyes ripped out before when buying “refurbished” laptops. How wrong could i have been, the laptop turned up 2 days after ordering and when I opened the box I got a pleasant surprise. The laptop is in as new condition, I have inspected it carefully and cannot find a mark on it anywhere, no scuffs, no scratches, not even marks on any of the keys, literally nothing. The laptop took about 20 minutes to get up and running, it is very fast and responsive. The keyboard is smooth and quiet. The touch[pad is very responsive. There is very little bloatware preinstalled and the small amount that is preinstalled is easily removed.
The screen isn’t the brightest I have ever seen on a laptop but it is more than bright enough and is nice and sharp and easy on the eyes.
All in all it’s a ten out of ten from me. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced laptop with good specification and performance then don’t look any further
