This was purchased mainly for three purposes. Internet, email & creating Word documents. It is excellent for those. It’s light, great battery power, clear definition & it fires up in seconds. Like all Windows based PCs it came with lots of absolutely non essential add ons & features which I don’t want & never will. ‘Less is more’ is my mantra on all things & not just technology. I have fibre b/band & this does handle that well, no jarring or delays & that’s wherever i am in the house. The size is fine for my needs & storage is way more than I could ever use. In essence it is the right tool for the job in my instance so I am very happy. Price was excellent too, even without me buying one of the graded options which had marks. I’d to look very forensically to find a hairline scratch on the shell though & it’ll acquire plenty more anyway during its life with me.

It’s a great laptop to purchase for such a cheap price. You get MS office also installed for a year. If you notice a slight slowness, it may get better the more you use it.
You can’t expect to use too many applications at the same time, so I’d recommend max 2 or 3 applications opened. Also, don’t keep too many browser tabs open.

I purchased this renewed laptop as my 10-year-old has had 2 new laptops and I am tired of wasting my money!
It arrived well packed and on unpacking the box I was surprised by the condition. It looks new. A week into ownership problems are arising. The laptop has slowed up immensely already lagging and freezing when changing screens. My son also saved his 1st document today and rather than it being the 1st. There were other documents, as well as a load of pictures taken by the man who owned the laptop previously. This experience has really put me off the whole idea of renewed!

To use an IT acronym which describes this machine “Slow Hyper internet Transfer Execution” or SHITE for short. I sent it back for repair and I’ve learned today that the courier (FedEx) can’t say where it is? it was supposed to be delivered between 09.50 and 13.50 today. other than not having a laptop or at least one that works I can’t say I could in all honesty recommend this laptop. But you could be lucky and get one that actually has a WIFI module that actually works. Okay, for the money you’re not going to get a super computer with loads of memory and quad core technology or hardcore gaming graphics, but the very least you should expect is something yuo can connect to the web/internet/WWW what ever way you describe this didn’t do it. I suppose I’ll just have to make do with my old laptop with the Ryzen series 7 CPU and AMD Radeon graphic’s card. I suppose I’ll get used to not having to wait for the kettle to boil while trying to get connected or all the buffering while watching YouTube, I mean a 20minute YouTube video could last for well over an hour!! Now that’s real value for money. I would upload an image but i don’t have the laptop.

you must take the price of this laptop into consideration when buying, It is not the fastest one on the planet however if you remove the s mode and give it a few days to update itself it is a very good laptop running quite fast, the sound is acceptable and Bluetooth and wi-fi work well, the screen is bright enough for outside use.
At this price bracket I can only praise this unit and think its probably the best at this level.

My old laptop top died on me so I decided to invest on a new one. Visited currys did’nt see anything within my price range and they probably
talked about extended expensive warrenty luckly none of the staffed asked if i wanted any help so i did’nt bother. Then I’ve seen this one I was a bit doubtful and ordered it anyway. It took me all evening to set up and
eventually got there. Little bit slow but not as slow as my old one in fact I’m quite impressed still early days and I’m happy also added Norton to be on the safe side😊

I am really disappointed with this product, I just needed a basic laptop to use Microsoft Office and the Internet. This laptop is painfully slow and cannot even do the basics without crashing so unfortunately has been a complete waste of money. I contacted Lenovo support and they were unable to help as its just due to lack of memory. I am not tech savvy enough to know this before purchasing otherwise I would definitely not have bought this product. I don’t even know what the point of this machine is to make and sell because its useless.

Okay her is my experience after 24 hours. The laptop arrived on time very well packed and looked very nice for the money. Upon startup it was very sluggish as it began downloading numerous updates to the Win 11 S version OS so I just left it to run for a couple of hours doing this. As others have commented the processor and RAM were at 100% utilisation and the laptop near unusable during this period. After the updates were finished things were much better but not perfect. I then changed from the S version of 11 to the standard version and immediately the laptop became very responsive and has been working excellently since then (type S mode into the search function on the laptop screen to find out how to do this). Lenovo has hit the low price nail right on the head with this Lappy and I would highly recommend – the only question being reliability in the longer term ? I will let you know if I experience problems later but assuming it lasts this is all the laptop 90% of us would ever need for day to day use on the internet. Excellent job Lenovo.
