I have no problem with the Dell laptop which has met my expectations. The laptop arrived in good condition with all the software installed. The setup was easy and straight forward and was accompanied by embedded notes on the start up screen. So I can award 5 out of 5 for the laptop and that part of the service. I do however have some serious concerns with the ability of the supplier, TecBuyer to support and respond to customers queries and requests for assistance. My score of 2 out of 5 reflects these concerns. Customers should be AWARE that you cannot contact this company by phone and speak to someone in person. The only method of communication is via WhatsApp or email. TecBuyer say that they will respond within 24 hours, however my experience so far does not support this statement. Only 1 of my 3 emails have so far had a reply within 24 hours. 1 took 3 days for a reply and my most recent email is still outstanding after more than 1 week. So my warning is that if you feel you may need after sales technical back-up and support you should consider very carefully if you can live without direct phone contact and responses which cannot support urgent matters or problems.

Bought this to replace small reliable but slow Toshiba. To be used for microscopy software. Arrived on time and by a good courier service. Easy to set up, battery fully charged on arrival, operating system and installed software all spot on. It is very quick to start and fast in use. Only had it a fortnight so can’t say how reliable it will be but am optimistic.
Had the Dell two months now can’t fault it, good battery life and still doing all I wanted.
Had to contact supplier about Windows 11 prompt and helpful response.

No value for money. Started having problems with this laptop within few weeks of buying it. There seems to be some problem with DC jack. It’s expensive bought for £658 . They provide only 1 year warranty. They assemble the parts and sell it, so can see why I am having problems with this within few weeks. Amazon are unable to resolve either and get me a refund as its 1.5 yrs since I bought. So don’t buy from this seller or amazon. Better buy from dell directly.

I use this pc for running software for 100+ users. It does the job well, and it’s fast to boot up and to process tasks. I use it for regular zoom meetings and everyday tasks. The hard drive could be a bit bigger, but I’ve attached an extra drive. I’ve been in IT for 30 years and I don’t get easily excited over hardware. But I’ll make an exception in this case!

I liked the size, weight, screen size and the some aspects of the keyboard.
I wasn’t wild about the positioning of some of the keys (Power, Home, End).
I would have liked to have an “Upper case” light.
The cursor movement and left/right mouse buttons on the pad are a pain – but then I use a separate mouse now.
I loved Laptops in the past where one could change the HDD, the RAM and the battery.
I just wish that manufacturers would keep shipping WIndows 10 – Windows 11 seems a quite pointless “improvement”.

Overall a great buy, would recommend to anyone in this price range. So far I’ve used it for web development and some video editing and so far no problems.
Here’s what I found…
PROS
– Extended warranty
– Thin and light
– Good quality screen
– Includes software ready to go
– Large touch pad (My favourite feature is the 3 finger swipe that shows all active programs – allows for easy multi-tasking)
– Includes number pad on the right
– Fast charging
– Simple battery vs performance control
CONS
– Internal battery can’t be replaced simply if it ever failed (I guess the extended warranty would handle this, but would be a shame to send the whole laptop off to be fixed)
– Easy to see fingerprint marks left on the case, sometimes making it look a little grubby (I don’t care that much but worth noting)
– No CD/DVD drive (Looks like it was replaced with a card reader and USB 3 slot so not a bad compromise considering we are in 2021)

Bought this because I wanted a new laptop with the Office suite installed, ideally and to have reasonable graphics capabilities. I read through a lot of the reviews and this one stuck out as being well liked.
Turned up earlier than expected which was a bonus and I found it easy to set up generally.
It has a very nice touch-pad which is sensitive but doesn’t “slip” which, together with the decent graphics processing speed makes it a joy to work with documents on (no freezing or juddering of the screen etc).
Overall a good buy.
The only slightly negative points are that it shows up finger marks a bit and I can’t tell when it’s fully charged if it’s off but these are only minor points really and it is worth the money in my opinion.
Also fast to boot up and even faster to shut down. Didn’t need to ask for help but I assume the sellers would have been happy to as I noticed Team Viewer was installed. Just needed to let it do some windows updates etc and it was ready to go.
