5.0 out of 5 stars Very good for what it is
Purchased this to replace my aging gaming desktop and I’m very happy so far.

    Performance:
First thing I checked was 3Dmark Timespy, which pulled 2k points, incredibly low. Then I realized that even though I had plugged the charger in I had forgotten to plug the other end of it into the wall. A re-run shot it up to around 11.5k.

This is never going to be on par with a gaming PC, but that is a very respectable number for a laptop.

CSGO at 1440 maxed was pulling around 200-250fps.

    Audio:
One of the weak points of this laptop is the speakers. They sound really tinny and distorted compared to my Dell work laptop. Not really a problem for me as I will be using a headset 99% of the time

    Battery:
Running through some basic usage I was able to get around 3.5H of browsing before the battery warning came up and the screen dimmed.

    Screen:
165HZ and 1440p. Absolutely crystal clear. Good colour vibrance, and very decent black levels considering its an LCD

    Storage:
512GB is a bit tight for storage. You will probably end up ordering another nvme ssd shortly after purchasing. Very easy to install SSD’s compared to some other laptops i’ve used.

The pre-installed NVME is fairly quick

    Price:
Managed to get mine reduced by 30%, but It’d be a lot harder to justify spending RRP.

Very hard to find reviews of the 11th gen / early 2021 model. All reviews i’ve found have been either 10th gen or 12th gen.

I would defo purchase this again

    Update after a few months:
I redid the thermal paste and thermal pads as the laptop was getting hot to the touch whilst on a stand.
I unlocked the bios and undervolted and now the CPU max’s out at 64’c whilst gaming, and the gpu 72’c. The CPU now boost’s about 300mhz higher than it was before all core

Razer lock the bios down, so by standard you cant undervolt at all without running through a long process. Would defo be better if they trusted people to undervolt properly like other retailers do. Even after bios unlocking Razer still set hard limits of 45w/60w-boost for the cpu, when in reality it could probably handle a lot higher than that after thermal paste is changed and its undervolted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great QHD screen quite possibly the best ever
I buy a lot of laptops and have had Gigabyte Aero and Razer Oled and this QHD screen is one of the best I have seen. Although I have the advanced version of this (comes with 2 m2 ports for easy upgrade).

2.0 out of 5 stars Atrocious Customer Service
While the gaming performance is great (400fps on CS Go), the support is the absolute worst.

The laptop has been returned due to faulty power connection but was returned damaged. Took time to identify the specific issue but by that time the warranty had expired. Once the issue was identified, their Support Team refuses to take ownership and the purchased insurance won’t cover the damage caused during alledgedly during the repair.

There’s a complete refusal to take ownership, no willingness to help, or acceptance that the damange was caused during the previous repair even though the issues were reported the same day it was received back from the repair.

Appualing customer care for a supposed premium product – would never purchase again and recommend others avoid at all costs. Spend money with companies that even show a hint of caring for their customers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst money I have ever spent.
The laptop is an I7 11th gen, with RTX 3070, and it got outperformed by a lenovo i5 4th gen with no dedicated graphics card,
It overheats, suspiciously, it takes forever to startup, it doesn’t run simple apps that I try to install!!
    Its camera is the worst.

    NO PERFORMANCE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Gaming Laptop
Great laptop well worth the price:

    PRO’s

    – Screen
    – Graphics Card
    – Resolution
    – Speed
    – Cost
    – Design / Feel / Touchpad
    – No Bloatware e.g Norton / Mcafee etx

    CONS
    – Battery

This machine plays Rocket League at Ultra 165fps and any other game easily, you just need to make sure that you change the defaults inside Razors app from ‘Balanced to ‘Gaming’

5.0 out of 5 stars Great if on sale
This is a premium laptop and you can tell, the screen is top notch and the build quality is too. It is more expensive than other 3070 laptops so if budget is your concern I would not look at this latop. At the black Friday price this is a great buy, do not buy at full price.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad for gaming, bad customer service, Not Worth!!
I got razer blade 3070 gtx should run smoothly on high spec games like csgo and am getting 130 fps only, not only that laptop lags even doing simple stuff like word or opening chrome, i asked customer service for help to exchange or get a new one no help from them 2000€ in the bin.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good laptop but lacks most basicis for laptop in this price range
Bottom line is I was disappointed with this laptop to the point i had to return.

This is a very capable laptop in terms of performance however it lacks very basic features a laptop in this price point should have by default:
    – No Windows Hello Camera
    – No Windows Hello finger print reader
    – No USB-C charging !!!! – Pro version needed
    – No per key RGB – Pro version needed

I was also expecting more from the battery – i know this is a higher powered laptop however even browsing the web with the 3070 GPU off the battery life was not acceptable in my opinion and to add insult to injury the charging time is slow! It’s a 270w charger so should be able to charge faster! I would also say the charger is quite large.

The build quality is excellent and i would say is on par with Apple.

Even for the price i paid £1430 at the time (with Black Friday discount) not having the above has let this device down – especially the lack of USB-C charging capability. I think its just another tech company wanting you to spend more for little to no reason!

5.0 out of 5 stars An overal perfect laptop
I’ve worked with laptops with the same spec as this but they’ve came in at almost double the price.
However, this laptop comes in at a great price and has a really good style to it.

I’ve had gaming laptops before and I’ve been looking into an up to date one for some time now. However, my major turn off has been the style of the laptop. A lot of gaming laptops seem to take themselves too seriously with the RGB everywhere, crazy air vents and whatnot. They end up looking quite ugly.

The Razer Blade looks like a premium regular laptop, almost the Macbook but for Windows. The RGB keyboard is a bonus but a simple backlight would have sufficed. When using the laptop out and about I feel less worried that it would be stolen, it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb and pretend its an expensive gamer laptop.

Performance wise, I’ve thrown copious workloads at this. From heavy gaming sessions with settings on max to heavy programming environments with virtual machines running. Its definitely one of those machines you could accidentially leave a game in the background and not notice.

My primary reason for the laptop was to move from an aging gaming desktop I built 5 years ago and is really showing its age. I wanted to be able to take my projects on the go without transfering files between an ‘alright’ laptop and my desktop. Instead, I’ve moved fully to this laptop and with the use of USB-C I have three monitors hooked up along with my keyboard, mouse, speakers and ethernet.

If I need to go out somewhere, either on a trip or visiting friends/family. Unplugging a few cables is all it takes. I’ve had no real issues with the laptop so far, any issues have generally been down to cheap USB-C hubs or Windows 11.

100% would recommend this laptop as an affordable laptop you can throw some more storage and RAM into and have a really powerful desktop replacement. So far, so good.
