1.0 out of 5 stars These Razer laptops just keep getting worse…
Mine came already open, clearly a refurb. Secondly, it was like a jet engine for the 2 hours I used it before initiating a return.
Ran extremely hot, loud & just un-enjoyable to use.

1.0 out of 5 stars too noisy, all the time, even in idle, support is bad
the laptop, even if the built is solid and beautiful is not worth the money, it’s always with fan on and even in silent mode/idle still fans are spinning like crazy, I would have expected much more from Razer, especially for this price….. I tried everything I could, followed all advises but still the laptop is too hot and battery life is a joke, reviewers showing 6h in idle but…..
1. even if it was 6h, they tested with screen at 20% brightness and airplane mode and everything shut down…. so… that’s not real use case…
2. it’s simply not capable to reach 6h, if you game, 1h, if you don’t game 2h, with the GPU disabled, 2h45m
do not buy

5.0 out of 5 stars AOU vs BUO MiniLED
Outstanding miniLED display.
If you’re considering this laptop, you may have come across discussions re AOU vs BUO display panels. I got to try both (2024 versions). The 1st laptop arrived with an AOU display. However, I sent it back as it had a hardware fault (multicoloured vertical stripe on the display). I returned it immediately to Amazon.
The 2nd laptop had a BUO panel.
From my pov, I could see no difference between either panels. Both were really good. Yes, the curser goes slightly darker when hovering over black patches and there is some blooming if you try to spot it. If this annoys you, it’s possible to switch off local dimming with the 2024 version (not possible with the 2023 version) and the panel is still great (blacks are still very dark etc)
When playing games such as Far Cry 6 with HDR on, reflections, or looking directly at the sun, can be so bright that you’d better wear shades 😉
Best laptop and display I’ve owned. I didnt want a laptop that looks like a gaming laptop. I also wanted a sufficiently powerful laptop for video editing and games. I also didn’t want OLED due to screen burn and the fact that its not as bright. Expensive, but I’m very happy.
