Samsung quality keyboard, Google under the hood. Updates are so fast. Chrome and all the Google apps are built in (Chrome, Photos, Calendar, Meet, Docs, Sheets etc). Perfect for spreadsheets and word processing and browsing the web. Would recommend for someone wanting no-frills surfing and for distraction-free typing and calculations. Doesn’t support Adobe apps or Audacity so it’s a pain for animation, video and sound editing. Screen is like a big standard laptop from pre-lockdown, touchpad control. No touchscreen. However, you get what you pay for and I got mine for under £220, so can’t complain. Has Bluetooth support and a headphone jack, keyboard doesn’t light up but the keys are nicely spaced out so touch-typing is a breeze.

I have been using Chromebooks for well over ten years now, I am a huge fan. I love the simplicity, I’ve never had any security issues, I’ve loved my laptops.
It was time for an upgrade and I came across this one, I have never tried a Samsung Chromebook before so I thought why not.
It is my own fault mostly I did a quick look at the specs I didn’t see what processor this uses (not listed here) and I just shrugged it off. I thought with the other good reviews and my love of the brand I was sure to be onto a new winner.
Sadly no.
They cheaped out & used a really, really poor processor. I have no idea where/why this laptop has any good reviews on here honestly the processor is the cheapest lazy pony they could find and I feel beyond annoyed and let down here.
Trying to load pages from even Amazon, Ebay, FB, clothing sites I timed it and it took over a minute to load, this is terrible.
The pages would crash like doing my weekly food shop I kept getting kill page coming up over and over it made the shop very painful to do I actually did that weeks shopping on my phone which wasn’t great.
Trying to watch something yikes I had buffering issues, when I tried to watch someone on Prime sometimes I had to reload the page several times before I could even get the show started.
I’ve had to return. This has been a total first for me. It has tinted my high views of Chromebooks.
I will say the ONLY amazing thing was the keyboard! It felt amazing to type on I loved it! I was faster than I had ever been and I loved it honestly the typing was very enjoyable.
Everything else it sucked 🙁

Received this free with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and I can see why.
It’s a very lightweight, quick, long-life machine, aimed for on the go work rather than desktop activities.
The keyboard layout is a nice size, with a responsive touch pad (on the small side but it works well). The screen is not the best, the viewing angle is limited so not optimal for multiple people to view. The Chromebook can go to a 180 degree angle, but you still have the viewing angle issue. It’s also not touch screen, which is a shame as the screen is a good size for it.
The audio is not the best – the speakers are underneath so the audio is muffled when placed on a surface. It can be quite quiet even on max volume, but this isn’t an entertainment device so it makes sense.
Surprisingly it can run some games – Minecraft was included for free and it ran quite well. The device is very fast at loading apps too and feels responsive.
This is a good machine for portability and for taking notes on something that’s larger than your phone or tablet. Not something I’ll use for work, but could be a good device for a child to introduce them to computing or for note taking.

Battery; advises on 2% you have 15 minutes left to charge. 2 minutes later you have 5 minutes left to charge @ 1%.
Downloading; refuses to download content from email such as word documents until around the 11th try
Keyboard; there’s no delete button
Mousepad; there’s no right click you have to use the keyboard and mouse together
Graphics; actually not bad but nothing special – what do you expect for the price
Speed; slow, even for the price. A second hand 2021 MacBook would have been a better option at the same price
Anything else; plastic and brittle, heavy for such a small laptop, nothing really positive about it and the layout is annoyingly different to the majority of computers. The control centre button left of the “A” is annoying too
